Gourmet Getaways
Join us for wilderness hikes or snowshoe
outings in Alberta's Rocky Mountains.
We'll follow-up a great day of fresh-air, physical activity and scenery with a
stay in Canmore or Field, BC, fun mountain towns where you can relax, grab a drink at a
local cafe or pub, or perhaps indulge in a massage! We'll choose a restaurant
for the evening meal and you can let us know if you'd like to join us. Choose
your own accommodation; B&B, Inn's or a hotel, there are many wonderful
spots to kick off your hiking boots and relax.* The Club Fit Frog organizer will
choose a hotel as a base so if you want to stay with the group, you may do so. These multi-day hike &
snowshoe getaways are a wonderful mix of organized outings and
flexible evenings in a fun town where you can create your own perfect
getaway.
*Let us know if you'd like a roommate or accommodation suggestion, and we'll
do our best to help.

-Organized group departure and carpool from Calgary on the first day
- Group Hikes with Club Fit Frog or on your own or independent hikes.
-Group meal organization (i.e. time of meals and reservation for the group, not
the costs)
- When requested and possible, roommate suggestions.

October weekend: Field, BC: The group will be based in the hamlet of Field BC where there is one hotel,
Kicking Horse Lodge, and many
B&B's (check www.field.ca/accommodations
for a list of B&B's). All accommodations are within a stones throw of each
other.You could also stay a 6 km away at Emerald
Lake Lodge
Please get in touch to see where others are staying or to ask about sharing
accommodation.
**We will make every effort to arrange roommates for those travelling
solo. Please ask Lori.

**FYI: We
carpool from Calgary at 8 am on the first day and return on
the last day at around 4-5 pm.
