Duration:  
All urban hikes are 1.5 hours in length. 

Urban Hike Program Types:
  You can attend any combination of City hikes, Hiking Training and Coffee Shop Hikes when you purchase a package. You can also drop-in to any of these outings.

Urban Hike Program Times:
Check the Calendar of Hikes for details.

Spring, Summer and Fall:  
Calgary hikes start at 6:15 pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 9:00 am on some Thursdays and some weekends. 

Winter
:  
Calgary hikes take place on a variety of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 6:15 pm. Coffee Shop Hikes take place some weekend mornings at 9 am and some Thursdays at 9 am.  

Program Locations: 
All quadrants of Calgary.
They change every outing. 

Education: 

Informal learning throughout the session covers a  variety of gear, clothing, fitness and injury prevention topics.

What to Bring:
Water (1/2 litre),
running shoes or hiking boots, extra clothes (conditions change from one end of the city to the next), Backpack (optional for training), Hiking poles (optional but nice in park areas with steep hills)
