Keith and 7 month old Eve snowshoeing in the Rockies

Bring your baby in backpack or front carrier to any Fit Frog outing! It's a great way to maintain your fitness post-partum. It also keeps you healthy and happy!

Fit Frogs and Kids

Eve enjoying a snowshoe and a nap in the Rockies - isn't life great!Children in backpacks make the workout even better so bring them along for the ride.

Older children may get bored on our hikes because we are adult oriented (that's the mature way of saying kids may find us boring). However, if your child likes hiking then he or she may love it! Fit Frog programs are lots of fun and a great success because everyone who hikes with us wants to be there.  If your child really wants to hike with the Frogs then talk to Lori.

Hiking Fees for Kids:

Club Fit Frog Mountain Hikes:

bullet

Babies in backpacks are free. Strollers do not work on full day hikes.

Children 13 and under are free but since many children at a younger age cannot keep an adult pace there should be two adults for the children so one adult  (mom or dad or caregiver of choice) can turn back or simply play with the kids at a set location while we hike. The adult that stays or turns back is free. This is a nice option for couples who want to enjoy the drive to the mountains together, one hikes, one plays with the child and everyone sees something new. I have been doing this since my son was born and can suggest some nice places for kids and the parents to hang out (outdoors and inside).

Children 14-18 years old who can hike along with us are half the price of adults.

Children in strollers are free (strollers should be the big wheel, off road types. They would work on all neighbourhood hikes but not on hikes in natural areas where we on narrow paths. Talk to Lori  to learn which hikes work with strollers)

Children up to 13 years old are free but they must be able to keep an adult pace.

Children 14-18 years old who can hike along with us pay $10 per outing to drop in (regular adult is $21) or the package prices as listed.
