Join us for wilderness hikes or snowshoe
outings in Alberta's Rocky Mountains.
We'll follow-up a great day of fresh-air, physical activity and scenery with a
stay in Canmore or Lake Louise, fun mountain towns where you can relax, grab a drink at a
local cafe or pub, or perhaps indulge in a massage! We'll choose a restaurant
for the evening meal and you can let us know if you'd like to join us. Choose
your own accommodation; B&B, Inn's or a hotel, there are many wonderful
spots to kick off your hiking boots and relax.* These multi-day hike &
snowshoe getaways are a wonderful mix of organized, guided outings and
flexible evenings in a fun town where you can create your own perfect
getaway.

Lake Louise/ Baker Creek
Gourmet Snowshoe Weekend
Cost: $270 ($250 cask/ck)
Snowshoeing
is as easy as walking but much more fun. You burn off the winter blahs as
you follow a well-laid trail or break your own in the endless powder-fresh snow.
Snowshoeing is an activity that is accessible to everyone. It takes no technical
ability and with Fit Frog you can pace for pleasure as you pounce through powder
or relax and enjoy as you follow the beaten track. For those who love to
cross-country ski, bring your skis and try the track set trails in the park. You
can join the group or find your own adventure. A Fit
Frog Coordinator will help you choose your adventure.
Accommodation is suggested (see
below), but not provided. Lake Louise also has many hotels to choose from. At the end of the day you may choose to join the group at the restaurant
of choice or perhaps you'll choose your own.
We
carpool from Calgary at 8 am on Friday and return
on Sunday at around 5 pm.
We will stay at Baker Creek Chalets.

Accommodation is suggested, but not provided. Waterton has only three hotels
open in the winter so make your choice and then join the group for meals at the
Lampost Dining Room (the only restaurant open in the winter). At the end of the day we head
to the Lamp Post Dining Room at the Waterton Lakes Resort
in Waterton for a some relaxation and
culinary delights.
We
carpool from Calgary at 8 am on Friday and return on Sunday at around 5 pm.

-Organized group departure and carpool from Calgary on the first day
- Three Group Snowshoe Outings with a Fit
Frog coordinator or on your own or independent cross-country ski
-Group meal organization (i.e. time of meals and reservation for the group, not
the costs)
- When requested and possible, roommate suggestions.

**We will make every effort to arrange roommates for those travelling

Lake Louise: The group will stay at Baker Creek Chalets
about 15 minutes from Lake Louise town site.
