Multi-Day Programs & Specialty Hikes

Step Out, Rejuvenate, Relax, Sleep Well. If you are always thinking about getting away but never seem to find the time then these are the getaways for you! Treat yourself to a healthy day or weekend away with Rocky Mountain hikes, wonderful food at local restaurants, witty conversation and lots of fresh mountain air!

On the multi-day getaways, we’ll follow-up a great day of fresh-air, physical activity and scenery with a fun mountain town or remote wilderness hostel where you can relax and recharge. The hostel getaways are fully catered, all-inclusive programs with shared dorm-style accommodation. When we base in a mountain town, you choose your own accommodation; B&B, Inn’s or a hotel, there are  many wonderful spots to kick off your hiking boots and relax.* When in a mountain town, we’ll choose a restaurant for the evening meal and you can let us know if you’d like to join us. The Club Fit Frog organizer will choose a hotel as a base so if you want to stay with the group, you may do so. These mountain town based multi-day hike & snowshoe getaways are a wonderful mix of organized outings  and flexible evenings in a fun town where you can create your own perfect getaway. All multi-day getaways are a great chance to hang out with a group of fellow hikers, eat scrumptious food and get loads of fresh air and exercise. Specialty hikes and snowshoe are trips that fall outside the regular Club Fit Frog session membership. They might be longer days that require a night of accommodation in the mountains or an extra early start to drive to the trailhead.

*Let us know if you’d like a roommate or accommodation suggestion, and we’ll do our best to help.

based in Field, BC

You learn how to get up and down hills, to pace for endurance and enjoyment, and how to choose safe trails that suit your fitness level. Skiing takes some technical skill to ensure you can get up and down hills safely. If you have never xc skied or have not is a very long time, then it is best to take a lesson before joining us on recreational skiing. COP (Canada Olympic Park) offers XC ski lessons.
